Nicola is a seasoned Dietitian and sports nutritionist. With a First Class Honours in BSc Nutrition and Dietetics from King’s College London (KCL) and a Master’s in Applied Sports Nutrition from St Mary’s University, Twickenham, she brings expertise from diverse clinical, sports, and health & wellbeing settings.
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Nicola supports individuals with or without health conditions, addressing various health-related goals. She focuses on cardiometabolic health, emphasizing nutrition’s role in preventing and managing diseases like type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular issues.
Nicola aids those struggling with their relationship with food, addressing problematic eating patterns. Specialising in sports nutrition, she blends clinical knowledge with sports physiology to optimise performance for gym-goers, weekend warriors, and professional athletes.
Beyond her professional commitments, Nicola is an amateur athlete in England Touch Rugby’s High-Performance setup since 2016. Balancing full-time training with professional responsibilities, she values positive relationships with clients and colleagues, fostering open communication.
Nicola envisions a global shift in nutrition communication and challenges weight-centric government policies. She advocates for personalized approaches, acknowledging the individualised nature of nutrition. Nicola believes pursuing good health should not compromise one’s relationship with food, aiming to guide individuals towards a healthy lifestyle tailored to their needs.
